Let us know if you need to report a change in the health of someone named on your policy, or correct a medical details error or omission that was made when your policy was purchased.

If someone named on your policy has experienced a change in health since your policy was purchased, please contact our UK-based Sales and Service team by phone on 01903 255 650 as soon as possible, so we can establish how the change may affect your cover.

Please note that it is important for your medical information to be accurate and up to date, to avoid delays or difficulties in the event of a claim.

Helpful information

Before you get in touch to report a change in health, please make sure you have as much of the following available as possible:

  • the date on which the symptoms of the change first began
  • the date on which the symptoms of the change were first discussed with a medical practitioner
  • the diagnosis (if applicable) provided by a medical practitioner
  • the date on which your trip was booked (or multiple trips under an Annual policy)
  • the outcome of any investigations or procedures related to the change
  • the details of any proposed or booked tests or investigations related to the change

This information will help us determine the best options that may be available to you.

Pregnancy cover

If your change in health is pregnancy related, please note that pregnancy is not considered a 'medical condition' under a Coverwise Travel Insurance policy, and does not need to be included as part of your medical declaration.
