Amend cover

If your travel plans have changed since purchasing your Coverwise Travel Insurance, you should get in touch as soon as possible so we can look into amending your cover to suit your needs.

Please be advised that policy amendments are not guaranteed and will be subject to the eligibility criteria set by our insurer, AXA Insurance.

We are able to carry out requests to change the dates of your cover by email, as long as:

  • there are no known or pending claims against your policy, and it has not been used for travel
  • the originally selected dates of cover have not already passed
  • the duration of your policy will not be extended as a result of the change
  • the new dates of cover are within 12 months of your original policy purchase date
  • the travel area and level of cover provided by your policy are remaining the same
  • there have been no changes to the health of any traveller named on your policy since it was purchased*

*Excluding COVID-19, provided the traveller has fully recovered, is no longer suffering from COVID-19 symptoms, tests negative on a lateral flow test, is fit to travel, has no ongoing health issues caused by COVID-19 and is not awaiting any treatment, tests, investigations or their results.
